Razeen® SR 5097 is a solid, unmodified epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A.
Applications
Razeen® SR 5097 is a solid, high melt viscosity, epoxy resin designed for high quality
industrial coatings and for thick-film powder coatings. These typical applications are:
- Metal decorating finishes
- Can and coil coatings
- Drum and tank linings
- Application primers and enamels
- Metal furniture finishes
- Primers (including weldable primers) for practically all types of substrates
Razeen® SR 5097 is successfully used for the production of powder coatings for:
- Components used in the chemical industry with high chemical and mechanical
resistance.
- Tube and pipe coatings

Package and Storage
Razeen® SR 5097 is supplied in 25 Kg. bags. This product has minimum shelf life of 6
years when stored in a dry place at room temperature. If stored under warmer
conditions, sintering may occur.

Caution! Avoid dusty conditions.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Avoid breathing dust.
Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin.
When poured, resin can generate static electricity sparks which can ignite flammable
vapors or dusts.
Use with good ventilation.

First Aid
In case of contact:
Eyes : Promptly flush with water for at least 5 minutes.
Skin : Wash with mild soap and water.
Inhalation : Remove to fresh air. Give oxygen if breathing is difficult.
Ingestion : If conscious, give plenty of water. Call a physician.
