Razeen® SR 5199 is an unmodified high molecular weight epoxy resin based on
Bisphenol A.
Applications
Razeen® SR 5199 can be cured with amino or phenolic resins for the formulation of:
- Linings for cans, tubes and metal containers of all types.
- Mechanically and chemically highly resistant heat-curing primers and enamels.
Razeen® SR 5199 can be cured with polyisocyanates for anticorrosive paints, epoxy
pitch and tank linings including ballast tanks which can be cured at room temperature.
Properties
Package linings and heat-cured enamels have:
- Excellent flexibility and impact strength
- Excellent deep-drawing capability
- Good general chemical resistance
Coatings formulated in combination with polyisocyanates exhibit:
- High reactivity
- Outstanding mechanical properties
- Good chemical resistance.

Package and Storage
Razeen® SR 5199 is available in 20 Kg. bags. This product has a minimum shelf life of 6
years when stored in a dry place at room temperature. If stored under warmer
conditions, sintering may occur.

Precautions that operatives do not breath in dust generated by resin, hardener or formulated powder
coatings.
