General
Razeen® LR 2254 is a low viscosity epoxy resin based on bisphenol A and modified with
an aliphatic monoglycidyl ether.
Applications
Razeen® LR 2254 can be cured with polyamines, polyamidoamines or their adducts in
order to formulate solvent free coatings, self-leveling and mortar floors, concrete
injection mastics, structural adhesives, trowelling compounds and impregnation
systems. In combination with unmodified epoxy resins like Razeen® LR 1100 or LR
1150 the viscosity of the end formulation can be adjusted. Razeen® LR 2254 is meets
the requirements of the relevant FDA listings and is therefore an ideal resin for coatings
and flooring systems applied in food processing rooms or warehouses.
Properties
Due to its low viscosity Razeen® LR 2254 is suitable for the formulation of solvent free
coatings and flooring systems which show the following performance:
- Best diluting effect of all reactive diluents
- Good penetration into concrete surface
- Meets the requirements of the relevant FDA listing and therefore when fully cured
ideal to be used in contact with food
